We're happy to announce that Simpleclass has joined the Dutch EdTech community (dutchedtech.com), the Netherlands' primary network for education technology companies. Based at the Marineterrein in Amsterdam, Dutch EdTech brings together over 150 member organizations working to improve education through technology.
What Is Dutch EdTech?
Dutch EdTech was founded through a collaboration between the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, and organizations including Growth Tribe, Itorium, and StartupAmsterdam. Its mission is to accelerate the Dutch EdTech sector and make lifelong learning accessible through technology. The community includes startups, scaleups, and established companies all focused on education innovation — from AI-powered learning tools to assessment platforms to, well, video classroom software.
The Netherlands currently ranks seventh in Europe for EdTech ecosystem value, and the community plays an active role in growing that position. Dutch EdTech is also part of the European EdTech Alliance, connecting its members to a continent-wide network of education technology organizations.
Why This Matters
For Simpleclass, joining Dutch EdTech is about being part of the conversation where education technology in the Netherlands is being shaped. The community organizes Founder Dinners, Deep Dive sessions, and industry events that bring together founders, educators, policymakers, and investors. It provides access to research on what works in education technology and connections with institutions that are actively looking for better tools.
For our customers — tutoring institutes, language schools, and training organizations across the Netherlands and Belgium — this membership is a signal. It means Simpleclass is recognized as part of the legitimate Dutch EdTech landscape, not just another SaaS tool built somewhere else and marketed here. We're a Dutch company (Simpleclass B.V., registered in Eindhoven), building specifically for the Dutch and European education market, and now connected to the community that's driving innovation in this space.
